This is the "Histoire de Tourbillon 9," released by Harry Winston in 2018. This is the ninth installment in the "Histoire de Tourbillon" series, launched in 2009, and is positioned at the pinnacle of luxury complicated timepieces. Its most distinctive feature is its "three-axis tourbillon," designed for precision and visual dynamism. The largest first carriage rotates once every 300 seconds, while the second carriage, incorporated within it, rotates once every 75 seconds, and the smallest third carriage rotates once every 45 seconds, creating a complex movement that is truly captivating. This model also features a retrograde jumping hour and minute display. Retrograde, French for "regression," refers to a mechanism in which the hands move along a fan-shaped scale and instantly return to zero upon reaching the final point. The Histoire de Tourbillon 9 displays the hours and minutes with symmetrically arranged indicators at the top of the dial, and the hands jump back to zero every time they reach 12 o'clock or 60 minutes, creating a dynamic time display. Limited to just 10 pieces worldwide, this is the ultimate in complicated timepieces, combining an innovative three-axis tourbillon with a retrograde display.
