This is the RM11-03, the successor to the ever-popular RM011 series. Its ergonomic tonneau-shaped case, unique in the world of haute horlogerie, is crafted from titanium. The RMAC3 automatic caliber incorporates a comprehensive range of technologies to ensure exceptional precision. The flyback chronograph movement features a baseplate and bridges crafted from grade 5 titanium, ensuring the high rigidity essential for smooth gear train operation. The parallel-mounted double barrels ensure a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, while the free-sprung balance, which beats at 28,800 vibrations (4 Hz), provides stable torque and is shock-resistant, allowing for more precise adjustment than a traditional balance wheel. The caseback offers a full view of the caliber's mechanism. The crown, inspired by the wheel rim and tire tread of a racing car, adds a touch of racing inspiration. The annual calendar and oversized date display combine to create a timepiece that exudes the signature Richard Mille aesthetic.
