This innovative concept model was unveiled in 2015 as a collaboration between Audemars Piguet and seven-time F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher. It combines a 44mm forged carbon case with a titanium bezel and black ceramic pushers for a lightweight yet robust design.
The hand-wound caliber 2923 is equipped with the world's first "mechanical lap timer" mechanism, which allows the two chronograph seconds hands to be operated independently or simultaneously, allowing for the measurement of consecutive lap times without interruption. This unique and complicated mechanism was born at the request of Schumacher himself.
The black openwork dial features red accents, emphasizing the racing spirit, and combined with the rubber strap, it is a watch that brings the world of motorsports directly to your wrist.
